2010 is off to a great start! Last week I was very fortunate to photograph Alysa Stanton, the first African-American woman ever to be ordained as a rabbi and the first African-American rabbi to lead a majority white congregation. What started out as an ordinary shoot, turned into a very deep spiritual experience and I'm still feeling her warmth days later. She's an extraordinary woman, and a fine spiritual leader. When she asked me if it was ok to give me a hug at the end of the shoot, I felt like it was such a privilege to share in the human experience with her, and I thanked her for being on my Path...
Here are a couple of shots...
She has a wonderful sense of humor
